KVKK Notice

This Data Protection Disclosure ("Notice") is published under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). It sets out, in the form KVKK requires, how Trastfer processes your personal data as data controller. It works alongside our broader Privacy Policy, which covers the same practices in plainer language and also addresses visitors outside Turkey.

1. Data Controller

2. Personal Data We Process

  • Identity and contact data: your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Booking data: pickup and drop-off addresses, flight number and arrival time, transfer date and time, passenger count, vehicle choice, and any notes you add (child seat, extra stops, comments to the driver).
  • Account data: if you create a Trastfer account, your email address and booking history — we use passwordless sign-in, so no password is ever stored.
  • Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and basic usage data collected automatically while you use the site.

We do not process payment card data of any kind — Trastfer transfers are paid in cash directly to the driver.

We process this data for the following purposes, on the legal grounds KVKK Article 5 provides:

  • Establishing and performing your booking (the transfer contract) — necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party (Art. 5/2-c).
  • Contacting you about your booking — confirmations, driver details, flight-delay adjustments — also necessary for performance of the contract (Art. 5/2-c).
  • Meeting our legal and tax obligations, such as issuing and retaining invoices — necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç).
  • Keeping the site secure and working correctly — necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this doesn't override your fundamental rights (Art. 5/2-f).

We do not process your data for marketing or profiling, and we do not process any special category (sensitive) data.

4. Who Your Data May Be Transferred To, and Why

  • Your assigned driver, so they can identify and reach you (name, phone, pickup/drop-off, flight details).
  • Service providers acting on our instructions — our hosting provider, a mapping service used to calculate your route, and our email delivery provider.
  • Public authorities, where legally required (for example, tax authorities).

Some of these providers process data outside Turkey — see Section 5 of our Privacy Policy for more on international transfers.

Your data is collected electronically, directly from you, when you complete a booking or create an account on trastfer.com / trastfer.ru, on the legal grounds set out in Section 3 above.

6. Your Rights Under KVKK Article 11

You have the right to:

  • learn whether we process your personal data, and request information about it;
  • learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used consistently with that purpose;
  • know the third parties your data is transferred to, in Turkey or abroad;
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
  • request deletion or destruction of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations;
  • request that any correction, deletion, or destruction be reported to the third parties your data was shared with;
  • object to an outcome that is to your detriment, arising solely from automated analysis of your data; and
  • claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

To exercise these rights, apply in writing to info@trastfer.com, or in person at our registered address above. We respond within the timeframe KVKK requires — as a rule, within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kurumu) if you believe your rights under KVKK have been violated.
