This Cookie Policy explains what cookies Trastfer uses when you visit trastfer.com or trastfer.ru, and why. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can be used for many things — remembering your preferences, keeping you signed in, or tracking your behavior across sites for advertising. Trastfer keeps this to a minimum: cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, and analytics cookies only if you agree.
2. Cookies We Use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers your selected language (English, Türkçe, Русский, or Deutsch) so you don't have to choose it on every visit. | Strictly necessary | 1 year |
| Session cookie (authentication) | Keeps you signed in to your Trastfer account, if you have one, so you can view your bookings without signing in again on every page. | Strictly necessary | Ends when you sign out or your session expires |
_ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad and other _ym_* cookies | Yandex Metrica analytics: tells us which pages are visited, for how long and from which kind of device, so we can improve the site. Set only after you click "Accept". | Analytics (optional) | Up to 1 year |
We also store your selected display currency in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) — it works the same way, purely to remember your preference, and isn't shared with anyone.
3. Analytics (Only With Your Consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Yandex Metrica, a web analytics service by Yandex LLC (Russia). It collects the pages you visit, time on the site, clicks, the referring page, browser and device type, screen size and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We don't use Yandex's session recording (Webvisor), so what you type into forms is never recorded. Yandex processes this data under its own privacy policy. We don't use advertising cookies or social media tracking cookies, and we don't run ad networks on the site.
4. Your Choice
Under GDPR and Turkish and Russian law, optional cookies need your consent. On your first visit we show a short banner: no analytics load until you click "Accept", and with "Decline" the site keeps working fully. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage. You can change it at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Since our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will affect how the site works — for example, you may be signed out, or the site may default to English on every visit.
6. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this policy if the cookies we use change, and update the "last updated" date above when we do.
