Tekirova & Phaselis
Tekirova is the resort district built around the ancient city of Phaselis, about an hour and five minutes south of Antalya Airport — one of the few places on this coast where you can walk through genuine Roman ruins and swim from the same beach on a single ticket.
Phaselis Ancient City
Founded by colonists from Rhodes in the 7th century BC, Phaselis was one of the most important cities of the Lycian League, set against the Taurus Mountains. Hadrian's Arch, Roman baths, a theater, and an aqueduct are all still standing, and the city's three original harbors — North, Central, and South — now serve as swimming beaches, all reached through the same single entrance.

Because the site and the beaches share one entry point, a Phaselis visit naturally combines sightseeing and a swim without needing to plan two separate stops — pack a swimsuit along with comfortable walking shoes.
