Köprülü Kanyon National Park is Antalya's main whitewater rafting destination, about 90 minutes from the airport along the Köprüçay River. Declared a national park in 1973, the canyon runs roughly 14 km through walls over 100 meters high — a genuinely different kind of trip from the coast, built around the river rather than the sea.

Rafting the Köprüçay

Rafting tours cover the canyon's full stretch, typically taking two to three hours, with rapids ranging from calm to moderately challenging — suitable for both first-timers and more experienced rafters. Most tours are run by private operators inside the park rather than by us directly, so it's worth booking your rafting slot in advance of the transfer.

Beyond the River

The Roman-era Oluk Bridge, still in use today, is the canyon's best-known structure, and hiking trails lead further in toward the ancient city of Selge and cedar forest. Entry to the national park itself is free — only the rafting, ziplining, and jeep-safari activities are paid, run by operators inside the park.

Good to Know

  • What to bring: a change of clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet
  • Booking: rafting and other activities are booked separately with park operators, not included in the transfer
  • Combine with: the Manavgat waterfall and river cruise lower down the same river system
