Antalya Airport to Düden Waterfalls Transfer Price
The Düden Waterfalls are one of Antalya's best-known natural landmarks, about 25 minutes from the airport. "Düden Şelalesi" actually refers to two separate waterfalls fed by the same river — most visitors mean the Lower Falls, where the water drops straight off a cliff into the Mediterranean, but the Upper Falls are a distinct and equally worthwhile stop inland.
Lower vs. Upper Düden Falls
Lower Düden Falls
The Lower Falls sit at Karpuzkaldıran, right on the coast at the eastern edge of Lara. A viewing platform and park let you watch the water fall roughly 40 meters into the sea below — on clear days, boat tours pass close enough to get soaked by the spray, which is part of the appeal. Boat trips run from spring through summer (roughly €30–50), departing from both Lara and the marina in Kaleiçi; outside that season, the falls are best seen from the platform above.
Upper Düden Falls
The Upper Falls are a separate, smaller cascade further inland near Kırkgözler, set inside a park with walking trails and a cave passage you can walk behind the waterfall through. It's a quieter, greener spot than the coastal falls, more of a picnic-and-walk destination than a photo stop — cafés and picnic areas are set up around both.
How to Get There
- Private transfer (recommended) — door-to-door from the airport or your hotel, no waiting on connections
- Taxi — straightforward but metered, and fares can add up on a round trip with waiting time
- Public bus — routes KL08, LF09, LF10, and LC37 run from Lara Beach and Kaleiçi/the city center to the falls, the cheapest option if you're staying nearby already
Good to Know
- Entrance: the parks around both falls are inexpensive to enter, with cafés and restrooms on site
- Best time to visit: spring and summer, if getting close by boat to the Lower Falls matters to you
- Footwear: sturdy shoes help on the Upper Falls' walking paths, and the viewing areas near the Lower Falls can get slippery from spray
- Combine with: a beach day at Lara or sightseeing in Kaleiçi — both falls are typically a stop within a longer day rather than a destination on their own
